RELATED: The Sims 4: 15 Must-Have Mods For Better Gameplay And in spirit with that disappointment fueled nostalgia, this writer has compiled a list outlining some of the best mods for the third installment in the Sims series. Since the Sims 4 has been a bit of a let down to date, many players have been flocking back to previous installments. Mods are downloaded codes and items made for an established game which gives players the ability to perform actions previously unavailable to them within the game. Not sure with 1.69, you just have to try it.Though many devoted Sims players argue over which installment in the series was the best, in terms of both gameplay and the expansion packs that came along with it, almost every player can agree that the game would not be complete without the addition of custom content and mods.

I don’t see the prompt when launching the game with CCMagic, but it does work. When you run Sims 3, it may tell you there is a modification to your game and if you like to continue, click OK (depending on how you launch your game). Install the mod as usual in your Mods>packages folder. Or you can download it from SimFileShare at the link above (it can be shared freely as the creator has stopped updating it) If you want to download it straight from Loverslab, you have to be over 18 and have an account to download. My menu pops up instantly! I was told it’s a public mod so it can be shared. So if you have any lag to your sim-menu, try this mod out, it really works! Otherwise the more sims interaction you add to the game, the more delay to the menu. It adds some changes in how it handles the internal clock mechanism, but only for sims interaction.

It is a standalone core mod that helps with increasing sim interaction mods to run smoothly, similar to the Smooth Patch it seems. It was actually made in response to the KW mod which added lots of extra adult animations that slowed down the sim-menu considerably but you don’t need to have KW installed for it to work.

He said it’s a mod by Oniki at Loverlabs (of ‘Kinkyworld mod’ fame) to reduce the delay of the sim pie menu when you click on your active and inactive sims! I was told by Nitromon (very helpful) at MTS to try this mod: I finally uninstalled and reinstalled my game but the lag was still there. I took out all mods, then all CAS-related content. I thought it must be an interaction mod(s) causing the lag because it only happens on a sim, not on any object, terrain, rabbithole, or building. Do you click on your sim and then wait ages for the menu to pop up? No? Maybe it’s just me - I waited 15 seconds! That’s a long time in Sims World! 😄
